1. Care
When your Tamagotchi calls you, care for them by using the keys to select a Care icon. Use the Check Meters to find out what your Tamagotchi wants.
2. Feed
Select "Meal" or "Snack" to feed your Tamagotchi. They'll stop eating when they get full. If they eat too many snacks, they'll get sick more easily, so be careful.
3. Light
When your Tamagotchi gets sleepy, select the Light icon to turn off the light. *It will turn on automatically in the morning.
4. Play
●Generation 1
In TOY mode
Play a game of Look This Way with your Tamagotchi. Press the A or B Button, and if your Tamagotchi ends up looking the same direction as the button you pressed, they win. If they win a best-of-five match, they will cheer up.

In APP mode
Play a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors with your Tamagotchi. Touch the screen to choose your throw! Your Tamagotchi wins if they choose the winning throw or the same throw as player. If they win a best-of-five match, they will cheer up.

●Generation 2
In TOY mode
Play “Choose high or low” with your Tamagotchi. A number from 0-9 will appear in the upper left corner of the screen. The object of the game is to guess whether the number that will appear in the upper right corner will be higher or lower than the first number that appeared on the left. If you think it will be lower, press the A button. If you think it will be higher, press the B button. If the number to the left is the same as the one on the right, you will win by selecting either the A or B button. If you guess correctly 3 out of 5 times, Tamagotchi will be happy!

In APP mode
Play "Choose the same Picture" with your Tamagotchi. From the 3 cards that appear on the screen, choose the card that you think has the same picture as your Tamagotchi's card. If you guess correctly 3 out of 5 times, Tamagotchi will be happy!
5. Medicine
If a skull icon appears, it means your Tamagotchi is sick. Select the Injection icon to cure them with an injection. The skull icon disappears once they're cured. (They can only be cured twice! The third time, they will die.)
6. Potty Duck
Your Tamagotchi goes to the toilet every few hours.When this happens, select the Potty Duck icon to flush. If you don't flush, your Tamagotchi may get sick.
7. Health Meter
You can check the Tamagotchi's age, weight, discipline, hunger and happiness.Feeding or Playing with Tamagotchi will increase the heart level.
8. Discipline
When it looks like your Tamagotchi is getting spoiled, select the Training icon to scold them.
9. Call Signal
This appears when your Tamagotchi is calling you. Be sure to take care of them while it is displayed.

1. Sleeping/Waking
Your Tamagotchi goes to sleep when night falls, and wakes up in the morning.
*When they go to sleep and wake up depends on their maturity and whether they are good or bad.
Young Tamagotchis go to sleep and wake up early, but as they get older they stay up later. Undisciplined Tamagotchis also stay up late.
*Your Tamagotchi can't go to sleep until you turn out the light for them.
*You can't take care of Tamagotchis while they are sleeping.
2. Toilet
Sometimes your Tamagotchi poops. When this happens, flush in Potty Duck mode.
3. Call
Tamagotchis call their owner when their status changes. When this happens, you should see to their needs. If you take good care of them, they will call you between four and nine times a day.
●If they are hungry, feed them.
●If they are in a bad mood, give them snacks or let them win a game.
●If they are sleepy, turn the light out.
●If they are spoiled (this happens when their hunger or mood is higher than 0), scold them using the Training icon.
4. Sickness
When your Tamagotchi gets sick, cure them in Medicine mode. *Tamagotchis get sick more often when they are young or undisciplined.
Reasons for sickness:
●Natural causes
●Eating too many snacks
●Not flushing the toilet
5. Share
Select the Share button to upload Tamagotchis you've raised to Facebook, or save photos of them to the photo folder.
6. Gallery
View the Tamagotchis you've raised. You can check how many times you've raised a Tamagotchi on its details screen. Collect lots of Tamagotchis to build your wallpaper collection. Raise new Tamagotchis to build your shell collection.

1. Does "Tamagotchi L.i.f.e." support horizontal screen mode?
No, horizontal screen mode is not supported.
2. Can I get rid of the ads that appear on the bottom of the screen?
You can permanently remove the banner ads from this game by buying the Ad Free version from the Home screen for $0.99.
3. Can I mute the sound?
The sound can be muted. "Music" and "Sound effects" can turned on or off under Home > OPTIONS.
4. Is it possible to raise Generation 1 and Generation 2 Tamagotchis at the same time?
No. You can only raise one Tamagotchi in either Generation 1 or Generation 2.

1. I want to raise a new Tamagotchi.
Select "Reset" under Home > OPTIONS. A new egg appears, which will eventually hatch into a Tamagotchi.
2. I want to know when my Tamagotchi is calling me even when the app isn't running.
Turn "Notifications" on under Home > OPTIONS.
3. The screen is too dark to see anything.
The light may be off. Use the light icon, and your Tamagotchi will appear.
4. I'd like to raise a Tamagotchi in a different Generation version.
Please choose "Reset" under the "Option" menu. Please be aware that the Tamagotchi（s） data you are currently raising will be deleted.

1. The app crashed suddenly.
The main reason for the app crashing is a lack of available system memory. Free up some memory on your device, and launch the app again.
2. My Tamagotchi is calling me too often. Is there anything I can do about this?
Turn "Notifications" off under Home > OPTIONS.
3. I accidently reset my Tamagotchi. Can I get it back?
Once you perform a reset, there is no way to get your old Tamagotchi back.
4. My Tamagotchi doesn't wake up or go to sleep!
Your Tamagotchi's daily routine is based on your device settings. You can't raise them properly if the wrong time is set on your device. Also, avoid changing the clock on your device while raising Tamagotchis, as it can cause errors.
5. My Tamagotchi died.
This is likely because of one of the following:
- It was hungry for too long.
- It was sick for too long.
- It got sick too many times.
- It reached the end of its natural life.
Press the Select button and Cancel button at the same time, or go to Home > OPTIONS and select the Reset button, and you can start the game again with a new egg.
